ACON is NSW's and Australia's largest community-based gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) health and HIV/AIDS organisation, whose mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of the GLBT community and people with HIV, and reduce HIV transmission.
Carmen Rupe Memorial Trust
Through decades of volunteer work both for the LGBTI community and other disadvantaged groups, Carmen demonstrated the power of human kindness as a force for social change. The Carmen Rupe Memorial Trust (CRMT) will perpetuate this wonderful legacy by mobilising transgender people and their friends to continue this work and in the process create greater visibility for a community that still endures significant stigmatisation and social exclusion.
COTA NSW – Council On The Ageing
COTA NSW is the peak organisation for people over 50 in NSW; an independent, non-partisan, consumer-based, non-government organisation that works with politicians, policy makers, and service providers as well as media representatives, to make sure the views of older people are heard and their needs met.
GLRL – Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby NSW
Advocates on behalf of lesbians and gay men, providing referral and educative resources on gay and lesbian rights to the media, policy makers and the community.

Services for people with gender issues, their partners, families and friends in NSW. Also education, support, training and referral/resource centre for other organisations and service providers. TARS – The Aged-Care Rights Service Inc.
A community legal centre that provides non-legal advocacy for the residents of Commonwealth funded hostels and nursing homes and recipients of in-home aged care in NSW, and legal advice and advocacy for residents of self-care retirement villages. All calls to TARS are confidential.
TgR is the largest and most active transgender group in the southern hemisphere, encouraging membership from crossdressers, transsexuals, intersex, genderqueers, or flavour of gender diversity. Features: online resources, chat room, photo albums and blogs, and events for the community throughout Australia, including the weekend-long TransFormal each May in Katoomba; weekly Newcastle Café Night, and monthly Central Coast Thai Night.
